Job Summary
Metasys Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing first contact support for desktop voice-related incidents and request management.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and deploy new telephony devices, including IPC dealer-board, Avaya handsets, and headsets.
- Troubleshoot user-related incidents and escalate to second or third line support as needed.
- Support IPC, Avaya Telephony, and Zoom issues at users' desks.
- Coordinate with second or third line support and third-party vendors.
- Maintain communication on incident/request progress.
- Record incident investigations in the incident management system.
- Assist other engineers and provide out-of-hours support for changes or major incidents.
Requirements
- Experience with trade floor support and trader voice telephony (IPC, Avaya, Zoom).
- Understanding of telephony solutions and integrations.
- Ability to support telephony issues and escalate as necessary.
- Familiarity with IT Service Management tools (ServiceNow).
- Ability to work onsite and cover various deskside support activities.
