Position Overview
Join a dynamic team at H2M Architects + Engineers, a multidisciplinary firm specializing in architecture, engineering, and environmental consulting. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Mechanical Engineer to enhance our MEP division.

Role Summary
The ideal candidate will possess a wealth of experience in designing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. This role involves collaboration with architects, civil engineers, and environmental scientists to deliver high-quality mechanical engineering solutions for a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate project activities with various engineering and architectural departments.
- Prepare comprehensive construction drawings and specifications for both public and private sector bidding.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure effective communication and project support.
- Provide technical leadership, oversee production schedules, and maintain quality control throughout project execution.
- Ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery of all project requirements.
- Engage in business development initiatives to attract new clients.
- Mentor and manage junior engineering staff.
- Undertake additional duties as required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
- A minimum of 8 years of HVAC design experience, with at least 5 years in project management within a consulting environment.
- Experience working with municipalities and government agencies is advantageous.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Proven ability to build client relationships and excellent communication skills.
