Job Description

Overview

OneWorld Community Health Centers Inc is seeking a highly skilled Health Informatics Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful implementation and utilization of our electronic health record system.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and support Primary Health Centers on all elements of the electronic health and dental records and associated tools with a focus on training and creating content for our members in the Heartland Network.
  • Manage the learning and professional development of users of the NextGen Electronic Health Record System.
  • Impart the understanding, practical skills and motivation to use the system and assist each health center to be successful in training its new staff in the areas of Nextgen pertinent to their respective roles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Business Administration, or related field, OR current licensure as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse required.
  • Experience working as a trainer and in a clinical environment preferred.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records required.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve problems.
