Job Summary

Endotronix is a medical device company that aims to transform the treatment of heart failure. As our Learning and Development Manager, you will design, coordinate, and implement development plans and training initiatives to ensure that our mission values are translated and integrated into daily work performance.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop all training programs, including technical and soft skills training, to support the Human Resources development program.
  • Design and deliver engaging training programs using various formats, such as e-learning, workshops, and webinars, tailored to adult learners.
  • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design principles to create effective learning experiences.
  • Review, approve, and coordinate all external training for the U.S. operation, collaborating with the EU training team.
  • Submit and manage the training budget.
  • Develop a full orientation program for new employees to complement functional onboarding.
  • Create and maintain an online training "university".
  • Use adult learning theory expertise to support building stronger training in other areas.
  • Support and assist the sales and service teams by ensuring proper training programs are developed.
  • Develop Product Modules and training delivery systems.
  • Coordinate product updates and news releases based on innovative training programs.
  • Develop an automated Training database with the assistance of IT.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in regulatory areas, such as HIPAA, Harassment, OSHA, etc.
  • Provide corporate leadership in all areas of development and training for the U.S.
  • Coordinate orientation programming and management training programs.
  • Assess training effectiveness and continuously improve programs based on feedback, performance metrics, and industry best practices.
  • Consult with leaders to develop training plans for staff.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of Training and Development experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical, MedTech, or biotech environment.
  • 5+ years of track record of building curricula using instructional design methodologies, preferably in a sales and/or marketing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.), and e-learning best practices.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and delivering training programs for a diverse adult audience.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and ROI.
  • Business planning and analysis, strategic planning, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills are essential.
  • Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a highly demanding environment.
  • Technical skills include use of Microsoft 365, G-suite, Salesforce, and other business-related software systems.
  • Proven ability to deliver training to a wide variety of audiences.
  • Advanced knowledge of business systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, curriculum development, instructional design, education, or related course of study.
