Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Meetings Manager to join our team at Virgin Hotels New York. As a key member of our sales and events team, you will be responsible for developing business and meeting revenue goals by prospecting clients, cultivating relationships, and working with groups from contract signing through final bill.

The ideal candidate will have previous hospitality experience, with a minimum of 1-2 years of sales or events experience. You will possess excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to think creatively and approach problems in a fresh way.

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop business and meeting revenue goals through prospecting clients, cultivating relationships, and working with groups from contract signing through final bill
  • Support hotel teams in creating an epic experience for guests
  • Utilize previous experience in hotel sales arena to develop Group Events that meet revenue goals
  • Prepare quarterly action plans and target accounts to book highest quality business
  • Participate in daily business review meetings and sales & catering meetings
  • Anticipate client needs and special requests, and lead pre & post-convention meetings with hotel teams
Requirements
  • Previous hospitality experience (minimum 1-2 years)
