Position Overview:

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform general order entry tasks; accurately input and manage customer purchase orders within the CRM system.
  • Provide timely updates to clients regarding their order status, shipping options, and expedite requests.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Communicate effectively and follow up on routine inquiries with internal departments.
  • Prepare necessary documentation such as customer certifications and packing slips for engineering orders.
  • Maintain accurate sales orders, part files, and records, including technical drawings.
  • Process order acknowledgments promptly.
  • Answer incoming calls and greet visitors professionally.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with 3 to 5 years of experience in customer service within a manufacturing setting.
  • Experience limited to call centers will not be considered.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to interpret title blocks on drawings and revisions.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Technical Customer Service or Document Control is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a strong emphasis on organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness.

Job Duties:
  • Respond to incoming customer inquiries with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with management to stay informed about new products, services, and policies.
  • Document customer interactions within the customer service database.
  • Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, actively listening to their concerns.
  • Provide support and solutions to customers in line with company policies.
  • Complete other tasks as requested.
