Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel Product Director to join our team at Aaa Ncnu. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for maximizing travel partnerships to drive income through commission sales, overrides, and cooperative marketing.

You will leverage relationships to build value-added member benefits, member engagement, and revenue growth. This role will influence strategic direction and lead the execution of Travel partnerships and product marketing at Aaa Ncnu.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and marketing, with experience in building and managing partnerships. You will be responsible for crafting product and marketing strategies to maximize Travel growth and achieve revenue goals.

You will also be responsible for delivering L&D programs to upskill Travel Advisors and collaborating with key business partners to align marketing efforts, build integrated plans, and deliver strong results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partnership Management: Travel supplier contracting, negotiating sales goals, commissions, and override opportunities, as well as enhancing member benefits.
  • Destination partner contracting for cooperative marketing campaigns.
  • Work with other clubs and AAA Inc. to identify, develop, and manage new partnership opportunities.
  • Monitors established service level requirements of Preferred Travel Suppliers to ensure achievement of defined service levels essential for MWG and member satisfaction.
  • Develops improvement plans as necessary and monitors progress.
  • Participates on supplier advisory boards.
  • Liaises between sales, business operations, and partners to resolve member experience issues.

Requirements:

  • Superior knowledge of sales and sales channels effectiveness within inside, outside, and third-party selling environments.
  • Strong marketing knowledge of segmentation, targeting, modeling, controlled testing, and ROI analysis.
  • Skilled in relationship management, including the ability to build trust and strong partnerships inside and outside of the organization.
  • Strong financial and business skills, effective at identifying and driving product and experience improvements to maximize value and achieve results.
  • Strategic mindset, able to readily translate general business strategy into effective product and marketing strategies and define direction for large teams that deliver growth.
  • Proven track record of leading and developing effective, high-performing, and collaborative teams.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and driving value/growth.
  • Demonstrated track record of successful business decision making, planning, and problem-solving.

  • Outstanding sales and Member service skills and the ability to transfer these skills to others.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Google Apps Suite (Sheets, Docs, Drive, Slides).

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field plus 6 years or High School diploma plus 10 years of travel industry experience, with an extensive knowledge of the AAA infrastructure and current trends in the wholesale, retail, and online travel industry.
  • 2 years of Management Experience.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Business Administration.

Compensation Range: Min: $144, Mid: $160, Max: $177,312.
