Job Overview:

We are looking for a talented Cryogenic Systems Engineer to join our team at Blue Origin. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise on the pneumatic and cryogenic propellant subsystems of the New Shepard vehicle and related GSE. Your duties will include performing real-time engineering support during launch operations, supporting maintenance activities, and disposing and investigating root cause of vehicle discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or aerospace engineering, with experience in operating and diagnosing fluids systems and hardware. You should also have working knowledge of fluid systems and components such as valves, filters, regulators, fittings, and sensors. Additionally, you should be able to remain composed and focused while working in a dynamic environment on launch days, and have the capacity to identify and resolve discrepancies/anomalies while performing EBR role.

This position requires excellent digital literacy, with the ability to rapidly learn and use a variety of software tools as needed. You should also have proven familiarity with data reduction and analysis, and outstanding interpersonal skills that foster positive professional relationships. Passion for spaceflight and space exploration is required.
