We seek an individual with technical expertise, leadership skills, and effective communication abilities who can contribute to safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop the next generation of cryogenic valves for our lunar program and conduct initial analyses to verify your designs
  • Complete trade studies to quantify valve design options

  • 10+ years of experience in valve and/or mechanical/fluids component design
  • Knowledge of propulsion and fluid system components (valves, regulators, pumps for cryogenics, propellants, and other fluids)
  • Experience designing parts using CREO
  • Background in GD&T to create manufacturable, high-performance component drawings
  • Experience using design analysis tools like ANSYS and Thermal Desktop to evaluate design performance
  • Ability to define and support testing, conduct data analysis, and iterate your design
  • Capacity to build trust, maintain positive professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of teamwork and inclusion
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident, or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum

Salary Range: $136,467 - $191,053 annually, based on location and experience.
