Space Vehicle Cryogenic System Engineer

As a Fluid Systems Engineer III at Blue Origin, you will be responsible for designing and integrating cryogenic fluid systems into our lunar lander. This is a critical role that requires a strong understanding of heat transfer and fluid dynamics. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of experts to ensure safe and reliable operation of our spacecraft.
Responsibilities include developing and integrating heat exchangers into the lunar lander's fluid system, working closely with our team of experts to ensure compliance with NASA regulations, and collaborating with external partners to advance the state-of-the-art in cryogenic fluid systems. The successful candidate will have a strong background in aerospace engineering, with a focus on fluid mechanics and heat transfer. Experience with fluid system solvers, 3D CAD programs, and Finite Element Analysis tools is highly desirable. Additionally, a strong understanding of NASA regulations and industry standards is essential for success in this role.
We offer a competitive salary range of $111,690.00-$156,366.00 for CA applicants, $102,382.50-$143,335.50 for CO applicants, and $111,690.00-$156,366.00 for WA applicants. In addition to your salary, you will also receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic and supplemental life insurance, paid parental leave, short and long-term disability, 401(k) with a company match of up to 5%, and an Education Support Program.
