Job Summary:

The WorkFirst Service Delivery Coordinator will provide assistance to WorkFirst students in establishing and maintaining eligibility for Workforce funding and federal financial aid. This role will also involve serving as a liaison between Renton Technical College and various state agencies, including the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and the Employment Security Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist WorkFirst students with admission into college programs or job readiness classes
  • Determine student eligibility for financial assistance under RTC WorkFirst
  • Represent RTC as an educational consultant to DSHS case managers
  • Establish and maintain relationships with state agencies and local WorkFirst partners
  • Track and report progress of RTC WorkFirst students
  • Coordinate participation in the Work Study program
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or related field
  • Two years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of state Workforce program requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
