About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Access Management (IAM) Security Analyst to join our team at the Comptroller's Office. As a key member of our Security and Data Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our agency's systems and data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process all access requests, including new hires, terminations, and transfers, to ensure least privilege to agency systems.
  • Assign or remove access from users as approved by management or data owners.
  • Process daily, weekly, and monthly administrative exceptions and corrections reports to maintain the IAM lifecycle.
  • Serve as a security liaison to other state agencies to gain access to systems.
  • Train users and promote security awareness to ensure system security and improve application, server, and network efficiency.
  • Perform reviews of account permissions and computer data access needs, security violations, and programming changes.
  • Utilize ServiceNow ticketing system to record and manage security access.
  • Prepare user access reports and provide instructions for proposed system implementations.
  • Coordinate training of Division Security Coordinators and other team members.
  • Analyze existing procedures for efficiency and effectiveness and devise solutions for processing requests and improving security compliance tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Two years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity analysis, information security analysis, or a related field.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience with IAM software, Microsoft Active Directory, or IBM RACF.
