About the Role
The Comptroller's Office is seeking a highly skilled Talent Acquisition Specialist III to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources Division, you will be responsible for providing consultative services to assigned divisions regarding staffing needs. This includes drafting and reviewing job specifications, partnering with hiring managers to determine appropriate classification, and ensuring compliance with agency policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultative services to assigned divisions in drafting and reviewing job specifications
- Partner with hiring managers to determine appropriate classification and ensure compliance with agency policy and procedures
- Screen incoming applications to determine minimum qualifications designation
- Provide updates to hiring divisions regarding incoming application statistics
- Review selection/hiring packets for compliance with hiring policies and procedures
- Provide technical customer assistance as needed
- Assist in training newly hired supervisors, managers, and HR employees in understanding and using CAPPS Recruit
- Extend and/or negotiate job offers and obtain appropriate business justification in writing
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree
- Human Resources experience in the administration of one or more of the following programs: Talent Acquisition and/or Compensation Administration
- Preferred qualifications include graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Communications, or Public Administration
