About the Opportunity

Join a prominent organization specializing in the production of precision-engineered and lightly assembled components across various sectors such as Aerospace, Medical Devices, and Oil & Gas. The company is experiencing significant growth, with a projected revenue increase of at least 20% and ongoing acquisitions to expand its market presence. The facility operates on a high mix/low volume basis, focusing on custom-engineered products utilizing state-of-the-art machinery and technology.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take a leading role in New Product Introduction (NPI) meetings, offering expertise in tooling, manufacturing techniques, and processes.
  • Drive process enhancements and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) for both current and future manufacturing methodologies.
  • Lead initiatives in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
  • Oversee Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) for engineering projects.
  • Support the Quality Control department by running off Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) components to facilitate the transition to full-scale production.
  • Configure and troubleshoot CNC machine part programs.
  • Address CNC operations and assembly manufacturing challenges as they arise.
  • Identify Statistical Process Control (SPC) requirements for specific dimensions to assess and summarize their importance in the manufacturing workflow.
Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of professional experience in engineering, including at least 3 years in a senior or lead engineering role.
  • Extensive technical knowledge of CNC machining processes, including milling, turning, Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM), and grinding.
  • Proficient in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for manufacturing applications.
  • Proven track record in developing efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes for new product lines.
  • Strong expertise in the selection, procurement, and design of custom tooling and fixtures for machining operations.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $160,000, commensurate with experience.
  • Eligibility for a 10% annual bonus based on individual performance and company success.
