Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and testing precision electromechanical products, including gyros and gear train mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of operations to assemble precision electromechanical products, including drilling, reaming, burnishing, and tapping.
  • Use precision measuring instruments to ensure conformance to specified tolerance.
  • Assemble, disassemble, repair, and reassemble precision assemblies and correct malfunctions.
  • May assemble and modify prototype precision units for engineering personnel.
  • May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
Requirements
  • Ability to perform accurate data/record keeping.
  • Solder in accordance with specified workmanship standards.
  • Ability to work with epoxies, paints, adhesives, and coatings.
  • Ability to work from designs, work instructions, and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to complete in-house Solder, Optics, ESD, and FOD certifications.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity.
  • Capable of performing precision assembly and soldering.
  • Perform the assembly of products using standard, repetitive electromechanical techniques, use of basic handheld tools with good dexterity.
Benefits

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary range of $33,000 to $55,300 per year, as well as a discretionary bonus and a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
