Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the Finish team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project completion.
  • Monitor and control costs, adhering to established budgetary guidelines and implementing cost-saving measures as needed.
  • Ensure job safety and provide training and awareness to all personnel, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
  • Monitor quality standards and ensure technical specifications are met, maintaining the highest level of quality in our finish work.
  • Assist in developing job schedules, coordinating work with contractors and suppliers, and ensuring inspections are conducted as required.
  • Advise senior-level superintendents and project managers on potential issues, work interferences, and schedule difficulties.
  • Be a hands-on leader, working closely with the team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Operate in a fast-paced environment, maintaining attention to detail and quality in all aspects of the job.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Strong technical and practical background in carpentry and finish work, including flooring, cabinetry, and finish electrical.
  • 3+ years of experience in construction management, with a focus on finish work.
  • Experience with finish tools and equipment, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and BIM360.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to read and interpret plans and translate them into actual work.
  • Measuring skills to take accurate measurements of materials, following shop drawings.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and work in a variety of environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
