Job Opportunity

Pride Health is seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to support our client's medical facility in Danbury, CT. This is a 2-month assignment with a possibility of extension and conversion into a full-time opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect high-quality blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for lab testing while adhering to established protocols.
  • Interact with patients, creating a trusting atmosphere and explaining procedures in a clear and professional manner.
  • Perform blood collection via venipuncture and capillary technique for patients of all age groups.
  • Process specimens safely, accurately, and professionally.
  • Enter orders, retrieve, and verify patient collection data and special notations using relevant sources.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Five years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.

Job Details:

  • Location: Danbury, CT
  • Schedule: Eastern Float shift (8 hours, 6 AM - 5 PM)
  • Pay Range: $18 - $22/hour
