Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team in Danbury, CT. As a Medical Office LPN Pulmonary, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our physicians and APRNs.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for medical exams by gathering necessary materials and supplies.
  • Obtain patients' medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant data.
  • Provide direct patient care, including injections and specimen collection.
  • Communicate with patients and families about preventive care, medication, and test results.
  • Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve our Practice's and WCMG's missions.
  • Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
  • Maintain and model Nuvance Health's Foundational Values.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
  • Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
  • Computer skills and data entry.
  • Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a medical setting.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages.
  • Phlebotomy and EKG skills.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work schedule is 7 am-7 pm, with 8-hour shifts.
