Position Overview

We are seeking a Plant Engineering Change Coordinator within our Interior Systems Division to oversee product modifications (including new product launches and phase-outs) throughout the Engineering Change Management (ECM) process.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves:

  • Coordinating engineering modifications at the plant level, ensuring all necessary steps are completed in line with Engineering Change Procedures.
  • Leading weekly meetings focused on engineering changes with essential stakeholders (Logistics, Quality, Engineering, Production, Purchasing) and maintaining a comprehensive tracking file of all ongoing modifications.
  • Ensuring that changes are integrated into production scheduling and material planning.
  • Managing phase-out documentation to monitor and reduce obsolescence, aligning the timing of changes with inventory levels and runouts.
  • Inputting features, routings, and other master data into the ERP System and shop floor execution systems.
  • Conducting regular BOM audits to identify issues and notifying development engineers through the BOM alert process, tracking issues to resolution and communicating with production planners and schedulers.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with program teams and defining the logistics requirements necessary for the launch of new programs.

Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Responsibilities

  • Support the commitments outlined in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy.
  • Adhere to the requirements established in the Environmental Management System (EMS) procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant EMS requirements among team members in assigned areas.
  • Support environmental initiatives to achieve established objectives and targets.

  • Address improper consumption of parts on the production floor for components and raw materials.

Education / Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in the automotive sector is preferred.
