Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Civil Structural Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

- Uphold a strong safety culture in all aspects of work and design.

- Exhibit excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively coordinate with team members.

- Engage in structural analysis and design, including the preparation of detailed calculations and drawings.

- Demonstrate proficiency in design and use of AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.

- Collaborate creatively with fellow engineers and draftspeople in a team-oriented environment.

- Foster client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business.


- Independently develop intermediate to advanced specifications for project tasks, outlining client performance criteria, specific component requirements, design standards, relevant codes, and vendor drawing specifications.


- Establish realistic project expectations, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints.

- Plan and oversee workload, project budgets, and resources, seeking assistance when necessary.

Qualifications

- Professional Engineer (PE) license is required; Structural Engineer (SE) license is preferred.

- Proficiency in STAAD Pro.

- Experience with RISA 3D, Foundation, and Connection software.

- Familiarity with Microstation and AutoCAD.

- Knowledge of Autodesk Advance Steel is advantageous.

- 5-10+ years of design experience is preferred.

- Experience in chemical plants or refineries is preferred.

Education Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Civil and/or Structural Engineering.
