Job Summary

As a key member of the ZOLL Medical team, the Patient Administration Coordinator will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and improving patient outcomes. This field-based position requires a strong understanding of clinical operations and a proven ability to navigate complex healthcare environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely processing of required paperwork and prevent delays in patient fitting, billing, and recovery of products.
  • Develop and maintain a full working knowledge of 3rd party payer requirements to prioritize outstanding needs and ensure compliance.
  • Effectively manage patients through Transition of Care by proactively engaging with staff and prescribers to determine if a patient should be moved to their next level of care.
  • Provide ongoing education and training within hospital and office staff on medical order processing and documentation requirements.
  • Assist with departmental projects and special tasks as assigned, including pilot teams and performance metric analysis.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience in sales.
  • Healthcare/Medical Device experience preferred, with a strong understanding of clinical operations and payer requirements.
  • Ability to proactively plan and work autonomously in close collaboration and communication with others.
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize competing objectives.
  • Problem-solving mentality, with a high sense of urgency and flexibility to one's schedule.
  • Proficient working knowledge of MS Office (including Power BI, Excel, Word, Outlook) and Customer Relationship Management systems.
Travel Requirements

This is a field-based position, requiring approximately 80% travel within a defined geography. Occasional work atypical hours (evenings and weekends) may be required based on business needs.
