We are seeking a Manufacturing Operations Manager for Consumables and Reagents to manage daily production and supply chain activities, ensuring that all regulatory and quality standards are met while guaranteeing timely delivery of materials. This role will involve the strategic planning and management of a diverse production team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize, direct, and oversee multiple production lines.
  • Ensure production output, product quality, and timely delivery of finished products.
  • Effectively allocate resources to minimize waste and optimize delivery.
  • Adhere to all safety and maintenance protocols.
  • Oversee the formulation and filling processes for reagents.
  • Conduct daily line clearances for consumable and reagent production.
  • Document process results accurately.
  • Gather and report process data, identifying any production challenges.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions.
  • Assemble component parts using hand and power tools.
  • Install electrical, mechanical, and electronic components in assemblies using soldering tools.
  • Interpret basic engineering drawings and technical orders to support process instructions.
  • Supervise and train new staff, creating comprehensive work instructions.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, leading a team of at least 5 technicians.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience in machine shops and additive manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with chemical handling processes.
  • Working knowledge of photochemical procedures.
  • Ability to navigate manufacturing guidelines, including ISO13485, ISO9001, and FDA CFR 820.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, KPI-driven, regulated environment.
  • Willingness to wear necessary personal protective equipment.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and self-motivation in a team-oriented setting.
  • Strong attention to detail is essential.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer, as well as standing and moving between production areas to assist technicians and manage workflow.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
