This position is designed for a seasoned professional who will develop and execute a comprehensive portfolio strategy tailored to specific diseases, ensuring our products remain top-of-mind for researchers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute a robust global portfolio strategy that targets growth across various product categories and custom service offerings, aligning with the evolving needs of our customers.
- Manage revenue, margins, and long-term financial objectives for the designated portfolio, collaborating with marketing and sales teams to implement effective pricing and promotional strategies.
- Drive the successful execution of the portfolio strategy to achieve above-market growth in core categories, including antibodies, immunoassays, and biochemical assays.
- Lead the New Product Introduction team to ensure successful product launches and market penetration during the early life cycle of new offerings.
- Oversee the Product Management team to ensure operational planning aligns with marketing initiatives for mature products, meeting revenue expectations.
- Collaborate closely with R&D teams to prioritize portfolio needs and ensure alignment of resources with strategic goals.
- Analyze global customer requirements and market trends to inform the development of a differentiated portfolio strategy that meets commercialization objectives across all channels.
Qualifications:
- A degree in a life sciences discipline, coupled with extensive experience in the life science tools and reagents sector.
- In-depth knowledge of Immunology or Neuroscience, with a strong understanding of customer needs in these fields.
- Proven analytical skills and a data-driven approach to developing and optimizing commercialization plans.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, both domestically and internationally.
