Position Overview

The role of the Cashier III is vital to the overall success and operational efficiency of our retail environment. This position requires a strong commitment to our brand values while delivering exceptional service to our clientele. You will create memorable experiences for customers through friendly and efficient interactions at the cash register, as well as maintaining an organized sales floor.

Key Responsibilities

Cash Register Duties:

  • Welcome customers warmly, establishing eye contact and introducing yourself.
  • Engage with customers in a genuine manner to understand their needs.
  • Capture customer information accurately, adhering to legal guidelines.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system with precision and care.
  • Ensure the cash register area is tidy and organized.
  • Propose additional products and promote gift cards effectively.
  • Handle cash and transaction media in compliance with company policies.
  • Leave a lasting impression by expressing gratitude and encouraging return visits.
  • Represent the Coach brand with professionalism.

Stockroom Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments and transfers.
  • Inform management of new product arrivals promptly.
  • Verify shipment details and communicate discrepancies as needed.
  • Maintain an organized and clean stockroom environment.
  • Adjust stock levels based on sales trends and new product introductions.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and uphold loss prevention standards.

Sales Floor Engagement:

  • Assess sales floor replenishment needs regularly.
  • Restock merchandise in assigned areas efficiently.
  • Support visual merchandising efforts as directed.
  • Communicate product information clearly to customers.
  • Respond to customer inquiries confidently, collaborating with the sales team when necessary.
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization on the sales floor.

Qualifications

Experience: 1-3 years of retail experience, particularly in cashiering or stock roles, preferably within a luxury retail environment. A strong awareness of current fashion trends is essential.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in cash register systems and basic computer skills, including the use of mobile devices and internet applications.

Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks at a fast pace, communicate effectively, and navigate the sales floor and stockroom, including lifting and carrying items as needed.

Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to accommodate high retail traffic periods.
