Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate/Cashier to join our team. As a Guest Service Associate/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handling cash, lottery tickets, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash containers, and restocking shelves.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including checking product in as it is delivered from vendors and conducting gasoline tank inventory.
- Yard Maintenance: Perform yard maintenance tasks, including sweeping, shoveling, and painting.
- Light Equipment Maintenance: Perform light equipment maintenance tasks, including checking pumps, lighting, and machinery.
- Merchandising: Assist with merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves and coolers.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with associates and guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
- Availability: Availability to work weekend, evening shifts, and holidays.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Uniform: Must wear required store uniform.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to frequently bend, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
