Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate tracking and documentation of spare parts usage, inventory, and work orders in accordance with company policies.
  • Assist with maintenance tasks within the distribution center, including but not limited to refrigeration systems, plumbing, lighting, welding, dock doors, air systems, racking, tote washing, and air spray painting.
  • Optimize battery availability by managing charging cycles and implementing battery rotation.
  • Conduct inspections and cleaning; perform specific gravity checks; assess cable serviceability and execute repairs as needed.
  • Acquire a working knowledge of the McLane Maintenance Connection database.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in industrial maintenance.
  • At least 1 year of experience maintaining material handling equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
  • Familiarity with distribution center industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, tuggers, and carts.
  • Understanding of OSHA regulations.
  • Basic computer skills with experience in maintenance databases such as MP2, DataStream 7i, or Maintenance Connection.
Candidates may undergo a background check and drug screening in compliance with applicable laws.
