Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Service Associate/Cashier to join our team. As a Guest Service Associate/Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide friendly and professional service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, handling cash, lottery tickets, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash containers, and restocking shelves.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management, including checking product in as it is delivered from vendors and conducting gasoline tank inventory.
  • Yard Maintenance: Perform yard maintenance tasks, including sweeping, shoveling, and painting.
  • Light Equipment Maintenance: Perform light equipment maintenance tasks, including checking pumps, lighting, and machinery.
  • Merchandising: Assist with merchandising tasks, including stocking shelves and coolers.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with associates and guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Requirements:

  • Availability: Availability to work weekend, evening shifts, and holidays.
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Uniform: Must wear the required store uniform.
  • Meetings: Must attend mandatory meetings, including T.A.M. and sexual harassment training.

Physical Requirements:

  • Bending and Reaching: Frequent bending and reaching, lifting of 1 to 15 lbs.
  • Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on occasion.
  • Accessibility: Ability to freely access all areas of the store.
  • Mobility: Ability to move quickly around the store.
