About the Role

We are looking for a Sales Engineer Position to join our team at American Cooling Systems, LLC. As a sales engineer, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales and engineering-related activities, with excellent communication skills, negotiation, and contract closure abilities.

This role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to self-manage commercial and technical tasks. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with OEMs, cooling suppliers, and other engine integrators, as well as identifying new business opportunities and growing product sales.

A competitive salary of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, plus bonus pay, is available for this position.

Key Responsibilities
  • DEVELOP AND EXECUTE STRATEGIC SALES PLANS TO DRIVE REVENUE GROWTH AND EXPAND THE CUSTOMER BASE
  • BUILD AND MAINTAIN STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH OEMS, COOLING SUPPLIERS, AND OTHER ENGINE INTEGRATORS
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow product sales
  • Maintain regular contact with company leadership to discuss and define strategies for taking advantage of sales and marketing opportunities
  • Document daily activities in Salesforce (CRM) and create customer contact and monthly reports
  • Represent the company in industry trade and professional associations to develop and promote positive relationships through networking and grow product sales
  • Act ethically, leading by example and earning the respect and trust of coworkers, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Set aggressive sales targets and follow up until the sale is closed
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in technical sales or a related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and CRM platforms such as Salesforce
  • Ability to self-manage commercial and technical tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, negotiation, and contract closure abilities
  • Will to travel up to 50% domestic with some international support
