Agronomy Sales Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agronomy Sales professional to join our team at Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT.

Job Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or Soil Science
  • 4 years of retail experience in Agronomy or related field
  • Positive sales attitude and consultative selling skills
  • Ability to work directly with farm customers to develop trusted relationships and provide expert agronomy services
  • Proficiency with diagnostic software and ability to analyze data to inform sales decisions
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work closely with chemical representatives and stay up-to-date on industry developments
  • Understanding of seed, chemical, and fertilizer suppliers and custom application equipment
  • Inventory management and logistics skills
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with farm customers to understand their agronomy needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Collect and analyze seed, plant, and soil samples to identify nutritional deficiencies and other issues
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions, crop yields, and sample results
  • Assist sales office with logistics during busy season
  • Manage inventory, fulfillment, and delivery of products to customers
