Job Description:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced sales professional to join our team as a Biological Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in agronomy and sales, with a proven track record of success in the agricultural industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell competitively-priced innovative biologicals into the agricultural market space in southern Minnesota.
  • Build and maintain a strong network of current ag grower customers.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue.
  • Collaborate with the owner to identify new business opportunities and develop plans to pursue them.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in ag sales, preferably as a territory sales representative or DSM.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of agronomic principles and midwestern cropping systems.
  • Ability to build a new sales territory and develop a strong customer service focus.
  • Self-motivated and performance-driven individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Must currently reside and work within southern Minnesota.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Agronomy or other ag-related degree.
  • Experience with or knowledge of plant biologicals.
  • Current ag sales experience with an established network of ag grower customers.
