Job Title: Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Operations Specialist to provide administrative support to our Sacramento office. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the office, including front desk duties, mail and delivery management, and providing technical support to staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, visitors, and staff
  • Manage the front desk, including answering phones, directing visitors, and tracking messages
  • Oversee mail and delivery management, including receiving and distributing mail and packages
  • Provide technical support to staff, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Assist with planning and coordinating office events and meetings
  • Perform other administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in office administration or a related field
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and strong keyboarding skills
