Position Overview:

This role is pivotal in creating a positive first impression for our members and guests. As a Welcome Center Representative, you will be responsible for welcoming visitors, assisting with registrations, and managing membership inquiries. Our Welcome Center plays a crucial role in our growth, and we are excited to find dedicated individuals to enhance our service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests, respond to phone inquiries, and provide accurate information about programs in a friendly and knowledgeable manner.
  • Process visitor transactions, including membership registrations and renewals, while ensuring active membership verification upon arrival.
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective members and guests.
  • Manage the lobby and vestibule areas, assisting patrons and guiding children as necessary.
  • Monitor surveillance cameras for unusual activities and assist members during emergencies.
  • Handle payments accurately, including cash, checks, and credit card transactions.
  • Reconcile financial transactions at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain up-to-date facility schedules and registration information at the Welcome Center.
  • Perform data entry and file paperwork as required.

Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience:
A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service is preferred. Proficiency in computer systems and MS Office Suite is essential.
Skills:
Excellent customer service skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple tasks efficiently. Attention to detail and the ability to build relationships with patrons and staff are crucial.

Work Schedule:
Flexibility is required, with daytime, evening, and weekend hours available. Differential pay is offered for weekend shifts.

Compensation:
$14.50 - $16.31 per hour.
