Overview:

San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a magnificent 357-room establishment, featuring a variety of dining venues, a beautifully renovated swimming pool, a children's pool, breathtaking Bay views, fire pits, and much more. We are eager to welcome a new Conference Services Manager to our Mission Bay Family. Our resort offers over 45,000 square feet of newly updated, adaptable meeting space, perfectly situated for our catering operations.

Role Summary:

As a Conference Services Manager, you will have the chance to craft unforgettable experiences for our guests. This position serves as a vital link between clients, national sales, and the hotel, ensuring the successful execution and oversight of meeting banquet functions and hotel room allocations. The Conference Services Manager is responsible for providing comprehensive event orders, resumes, and diagrams for groups, as well as managing group billing and room blocks. This role is essential in delivering exceptional service, maximizing re-booking opportunities, and enhancing profitability through memorable experiences. Your contributions will significantly influence the guests' stay, allowing you to create lasting memories.

Compensation Package:

In exchange for your expertise, you will receive a competitive compensation package that includes competitive pay, On-Demand Pay - Your Pay before Payday, health benefits, matching 401k, Paid Time Off, complimentary parking, free meals during duty, and discounted hotel and dining options at Noble House Hotels & Resorts nationwide. The salary range for this position is between $72,000 and $78,000 annually.

Qualifications:

For the Conference Services Manager position, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of two years of experience in Conference Services within the hospitality industry preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Customer service-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional service, anticipating client needs, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of menu planning and food standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Proficient in computer applications, with Delphi experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to innovate and provide unique catering solutions tailored to client preferences.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Availability for a flexible work schedule.

$72,000 - $78,000
