Your responsibilities:

The Compliance Policy and Standards Associate Manager will assist Stryker in formulating and implementing compliance guidance throughout the global organization to align business operations with pertinent laws, regulations, and ethical standards. This role will execute the strategic objectives of the Compliance team and collaborate closely with colleagues in Compliance, Legal, and other relevant business functions to address potential compliance-related challenges. This professional will support the Compliance Policy and Standards team and contribute positively to Stryker's mission and culture of integrity.

You will:
  • Assist in the design, development, and execution of compliance policies, standards, and procedures at a company-wide level in collaboration with Compliance, Legal, and other relevant business functions.
  • Promote global consistency in our approach to compliance-related guidance and ensure principles and expectations are accessible across divisions, geographies, and functions.
  • Maintain global compliance policies, standards, and procedures while addressing identified gaps.
  • Support the creation of supplemental divisional and local guidance, encouraging efficiency and consistency while allowing for flexibility when necessary.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather insights and align policies, standards, and procedures with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Contribute to solutions, facilitate discussions, implement feedback, and liaise with stakeholders.
  • Consider updates to compliance policies, standards, and procedures to reflect changes, clarifications, or updates in applicable laws, regulations, and business strategies.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry expectations to enhance the compliance program continuously.
  • Collaborate across compliance and with other relevant business functions responsible for policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Partner closely with Compliance team members to deliver a cohesive approach to guidance, processes, education, and change management.
  • Support initiatives to enhance the accessibility of compliance policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Build strong relationships across divisions, geographies, and functions to promote a consistent and collaborative approach to compliance.
  • Raise awareness of the compliance program and encourage accountability for ethics and integrity.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 6+ years of relevant work experience required, preferably within a compliance or related function, with experience in developing written guidance.
  • 1+ years of experience in compliance programs and/or familiarity with AdvaMed or PhRMA Codes is preferred.
  • 1+ years of experience in developing and leading large-scale, global initiatives is preferred.
$85,500 - $182,100 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.

Travel Percentage: 10%
