Position Overview

Ultra Clean Technology Systems & Svc Inc is seeking a skilled Senior Quality Manager to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes. As a pivotal figure in our organization, you will engage with various departments to ensure the highest standards of product quality are maintained throughout our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for product quality concerns, collaborating with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations management to address issues effectively.
  • Establish and uphold quality plans aimed at improving product quality and performance metrics.
  • Utilize preventive quality engineering techniques, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies to identify opportunities for improvement and present actionable plans during monthly reviews.
  • Implement and sustain quality business systems within Operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards and customer specifications.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives by engaging with Customers, Suppliers, and all internal departments, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
  • Guide site functions to achieve superior results in QMS audits and customer quality assessments.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an ISO-9001 Auditor.
  • Experience conducting product, process, and system audits.
  • Proven track record in managing critical communications with customers.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies, zero defect manufacturing processes, and quality inspection tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A background in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.
  • Preferred certifications include ASQC CQA, CQT, or CQE.

Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Engineering, Operations Quality, and Reliability.
  • Demonstrated leadership in quality and manufacturing systems, with a focus on business process enhancement and problem resolution.

Management Experience:

  • 5+ years of supervisory or management experience is preferred, though not mandatory.

Work Environment:

  • Adaptations may be made to accommodate individuals with disabilities.
  • Position involves working in a manufacturing setting.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as kneeling, reaching, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Capability to sit for extended periods while also standing and bending as necessary.
  • Personal protective equipment may be required.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional travel may be necessary for training and meetings.
