Job Overview

Ultra Clean Technology Systems & Svc Inc is seeking a dedicated Senior Quality Manager to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes. As a pivotal player in the semiconductor industry, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality across all our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison for product quality concerns, collaborating closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations management.
  • Formulate and uphold quality improvement plans and scorecards to ensure product excellence.
  • Utilize preventive quality engineering techniques, data analysis, and structured problem-solving methodologies to identify opportunities for enhancement and present actionable plans during monthly reviews.
  • Drive business process improvements by defining and implementing effective quality systems within Operations, ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
  • Champion Continuous Improvement initiatives, engaging with Customers, Suppliers, and various UCT sites across all functions.
  • Guide all site operations to achieve superior results in QMS audits and customer quality assessments.

Qualifications:

  • ISO-9001 Auditor certification is essential.
  • Proven experience in conducting product, process, and system audits.
  • Strong background in managing critical communications with customers.
  • Familiarity with Lean methodologies, 6S practices, and zero-defect manufacturing processes.
  • Exceptional communication skills are a must.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field is required.
  • A background in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous.
  • Preferred certifications include ASQC CQA, CQT, or CQE.

Experience:

  • 8 to 10 years of experience in Engineering, Operations Quality, and Reliability.
  • Demonstrated leadership in quality and manufacturing systems, along with business process improvement expertise.

Management Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of supervisory or management experience is preferred, though not mandatory.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to adapt to a manufacturing setting, with reasonable accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.
  • Physical capabilities include lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, reaching, and prolonged periods of sitting.

Travel Requirements:

  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be necessary for training and meetings.
