Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at HEI Hotels & Resorts. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Human Resources department, including recruitment, benefits administration, and employee relations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Hiring: Assist in the recruitment and hiring process for all hotel positions, including scheduling interviews and processing related paperwork.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer company benefits programs, including enrollments, answers to questions, and troubleshooting problems.
  • Employee Relations: Assist associates with requests and/or information, answer associate questions and/or address associate concerns in a timely manner.
  • HR Operations: Maintain accurate and updated department and associate files, create and update Human Resources bulletin boards and other posting locations as needed.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Distribute paychecks as needed, explain elements of various benefits to associates as required and assist with enrollment and claims processing.
  • Employee Recognition: Assist with associate relations events and recognition, as needed, e.g. Associate of the Month program, Associate Anniversary Awards program, etc.
  • HR Compliance: Monitor and update job requisitions as required, communicate hotel job openings internally and externally, via bulletin board postings, etc. pursuant to Company policy.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Control the administration of wages and benefits to ensure the accurate and equitable application of same, analyzing and applying information retrieved from moderately complex reports, manuals and/or computer systems.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Experience: Hotel experience preferred.
  • Skills: Knowledge of hotel operations, leadership skills to motivate and develop staff, ability to set priorities, plan, organize, and delegate, written communication skills to be concise, well organized, complete, and clear.
