Job Title: Senior Human Resources Coordinator

Fulton County, GA is seeking a highly skilled Senior Human Resources Coordinator to oversee the human resources functions and operations of the Court.

Job Summary:

The Senior Human Resources Coordinator will provide technical advice, consultation, and assistance to employees, managers, and administrators on personnel issues and regulations. This role will also ensure documents are appropriately processed, ensuring confidentiality at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze human resources-related information and develop action plans.
  • Provide technical advice, consultation, and assistance to employees, managers, and administrators on personnel issues and regulations.
  • Ensure documents are appropriately processed, ensuring confidentiality at all times.
  • Conduct recruitment interviews and orientation sessions.
  • Assist and provide training in the development and implementation of departmental training for employees.
  • Counsel employees and resolve work-related problems.
  • Coordinate departmental requests for personnel actions.
  • Oversee payroll preparation and personnel transaction processing.
  • Assist in the development of departmental human resources policies and procedures as required.
  • Interpret and disseminate personnel-related information and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Human Resources, or related field.
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in Human Resources or related field (at least one year of lead or supervisory experience is preferred).
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia driver's license within (30) days of residency.
  • Experience consulting with senior leadership on human resource related issues.
  • Knowledge of management level human resource practices, payroll practices and procedures, laws, rules, and regulations governing human resources functions.
Working Conditions:

Work is typically performed in an office-like environment. May work in high conflict situations and with difficult, sometimes dangerous parties.

Physical Requirements:

Sedentary Work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
