Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Support Specialist I to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for End-User and Desktop Support, providing entry-level growth opportunities.
  • Deliver technical assistance through various channels including phone, remote desktop, and in-person support.
  • Conduct scheduled installations of software and hardware on workstations.
  • Install and configure operating systems across multiple platforms, including Windows 10 and MacOS.
  • Work collaboratively with end-users to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to applications, phones, printers, or computers in real-time.
  • Engage with senior Help Desk personnel and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support technologies such as Office365, Microsoft Office, printers/copiers, Windows 10, MacOS, InTune, LAN, and IP Telephony.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred experience of up to 3 years in a related field.
  • Associate degree or higher in a relevant discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficient in researching and troubleshooting technology-related issues.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs, and push/pull carts as necessary.
  • Willingness to learn and utilize a service ticketing system.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals.
  • Flexibility in working hours is desirable.
Additional Information:
  • This role does not require travel.
  • Work will be conducted from an office location 3-4 days per week.
  • Occasional lifting/moving of up to 10 pounds may be necessary.
  • Frequent repetitive hand and arm movements are required for computer operation.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision for computer work.
  • Frequent sitting and/or standing is expected.
