About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team at Southeastern Integrated Care LLC. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a vital role in promoting recovery, self-advocacy, and self-direction among our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Coaching and Mentoring Services: Offer guidance, support, and encouragement to clients to help them achieve their recovery goals.
  • Develop and Implement Recovery Plans: Collaborate with clients to create personalized recovery plans that address their unique needs and goals.
  • Provide Linkage to Community Resources: Connect clients with local resources and services that can support their recovery journey.
  • Document Client Progress: Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, progress, and outcomes.
  • Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings: Contribute to team discussions and decision-making to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
  • Represent the Company: Serve as a positive ambassador for Southeastern Integrated Care LLC, upholding the company's mission and values.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Possess a High School Diploma/GED and be certified as a Peer Support Specialist in North Carolina.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Work Environment

The work environment for this role will be primarily in the client's living environment and in the community, with occasional travel to meetings and training sessions.

Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, and using hands to perform tasks, as well as occasional lifting and moving of objects up to 20 pounds.
