Job Title: Certified Peer Support Specialist

At Southeastern Integrated Care LLC, we are seeking a Certified Peer Support Specialist to join our team. As a Peer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing coaching, mentoring, and consultation to individuals in recovery, promoting self-advocacy, self-direction, and wellness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized coaching and mentoring to clients, focusing on recovery, self-advocacy, and self-direction.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to promote a culture of recovery and empowerment.
  • Develop and implement personalized recovery plans, incorporating client goals and preferences.
  • Provide linkage to community resources and support services, ensuring seamless transitions and continuity of care.
  • Document direct service delivery, interventions, and client progress, adhering to Medicaid and CSEUC standards.
  • Participate in staff and supervisory meetings, training, and development activities, ensuring ongoing professional growth and development.
Requirements:
  • NC Certified Peer Support Specialist certification, with current certification maintained.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to read medical records, write complete service notes, and effectively present information to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on empathy, active listening, and cultural competence.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team, prioritizing client needs and goals.
Work Environment:

The Certified Peer Support Specialist will work primarily in the client's living environment and in the community, with occasional travel to meetings and training sessions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on client-centered care and recovery-oriented services.
