Job Overview

Astrix Technology LLC is seeking a skilled Microscopy Laboratory Specialist to join our innovative team. This role presents an exciting opportunity to engage with a leading manufacturer in the microscopy field, emphasizing a commitment to a diverse and inclusive work environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in microscopy methodologies such as TEM, SEM, EDS, and LM
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related discipline

Position Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $65,000 - $90,000 based on experience

Work Schedule: First shift from 7 AM to 4 PM (overtime as required)

Responsibilities of the Microscopy Laboratory Specialist:

  • Conduct analysis, interpretation, and reporting of testing outcomes within the Microscopy lab to address product and client challenges.
  • Develop testing methodologies and engage in investigative work, including Research and Development initiatives.
  • Support the training of new laboratory personnel and assist in resolving technical issues.
  • Perform testing, draw conclusions, and compile reports utilizing SEM, EDS, TEM, LM, and XRD techniques.

Additional Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with microscopy techniques including TEM, SEM, EDS, and LM.
