Job Summary

Senta ENT and Allergy Physicians is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our medical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in the delivery of high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physicians in Patient Care: Provide support to our physicians during office visits, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience.
  • Perform Diagnostic Procedures: Conduct skin testing, pulmonary function testing, and draw blood for laboratory tests as instructed by our physicians.
  • Administer Immunotherapy Injections: Safely administer immunotherapy injections and maintain accurate records of treatment.
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, including the use of CPR if necessary.
  • Telephone Support: Assist our physicians with patient calls, providing instructions and prescription refills as needed.
  • Reaction Management: Assist in the management and treatment of reactions that occur secondary to immunotherapy.
  • Aseptic Environment: Maintain a clean and safe environment for medical procedures.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients on their physical condition, treatment plan, and use of medical equipment and devices.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Travel: Ability to travel to multiple office locations as needed.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with clinic health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Confidentiality: Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices.
  • Communication: Excellent knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Licensure: Valid and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (L.P.N.) to practice in the state of GA.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of clinic practice standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Record Keeping: Ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Previous Experience: Prefer one year of previous employment in a medical setting.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with adult and pediatric patients, families, and colleagues.
