Position Overview

The District Operations Supervisor is responsible for providing strategic leadership to multiple branch managers within their designated area, driving the team to achieve or surpass annual EBITDA, inventory, and sales targets. This role requires a deep understanding of branch operations to effectively contribute to the growth of Magneto & Diesel Injector Service Inc. The ideal candidate is passionate about motivating teams, supporting customer success, and enhancing profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, train, and retain top talent across the district.
  • Oversee the hiring and management of branch managers within the assigned territory.
  • Ensure each location meets or exceeds profitability objectives.
  • Enhance customer loyalty through exceptional service and support.
  • Implement and uphold inventory and operational standards across the district.
  • Provide financial insights through profit and loss statement analysis with branch managers.
  • Facilitate effective communication with branch teams and support staff.
  • Collaborate with sales and service departments to meet performance targets.
  • Establish a routine of branch visits, operational reviews, and manager training sessions.
  • Travel extensively as required.
  • Work cross-functionally with various departments to ensure compliance with company policies and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on personnel, branch performance, and profitability as directed.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss business performance and operational status.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma; a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing multiple locations in a district setting.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales and gross margin goals.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage profitability.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to supporting all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with Salesforce.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Successful completion of background checks and drug screenings.
  • Contributes positively to team dynamics and workplace culture.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

The physical demands of this role include prolonged periods of sitting, computer work, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The position may involve exposure to various environments, including office and shop settings, which may present challenges such as noise and temperature variations.
