About the Role

Herc Rentals is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Territory Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and nurturing business relationships with companies and individuals within your designated territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through daily territory management and visits to customer job sites/offices.
  • Networking and Sales: Develop a list of potential clients and consistently contact them through the telephone and internet to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Sales Strategies: Plan and organize sales strategies to achieve desired results/goals and maintain and exceed quotas by renting and selling equipment on a consistent basis.
  • Customer Relationships: Identify customer needs and react appropriately while understanding market conditions and local competitors' pricing.
  • Team Support: Support all team members to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Promotions, Advertising Sales, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience: Proven track record with 3 to 5 years of outside sales experience within the industrial market and/or heavy equipment industry preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

Herc Rentals offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary of $30K - $35K, uncapped commission, and a vehicle. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
