Account Executive Job Description

As a seasoned Account Executive at Paladin Technologies, Inc., you will be responsible for driving sales revenue growth, building and maintaining strong customer relationships, and expanding the company's customer base. Your technical knowledge of the market and industry contacts will be crucial in achieving success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute annual sales plans to increase sales in integrated security, networking/data cabling, and commercial audio-visual services.
  • Pursue relationships with existing clients and generate new business to expand the customer base.
  • Target and develop business with new clients to secure profitable relationships.
  • Collaborate with Operations, IT, Engineering, and other corporate departments to drive penetration of integrated security systems.
  • Propose and present new solutions for security, integrated systems technologies, and infrastructure.
  • Follow up on all sales leads and maintain CRM activities, opportunities, and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive outside sales experience in a technical sales environment, preferably in the integrated security, networking/data cabling, and/or commercial audio-visual industries.
  • Experience selling complex integrated solutions involving access control, CCTV, intrusion systems, structured cabling, corporate AV, or other related systems.
  • Experience selling in related industries (IT, Telecommunications, engineering, technology) will be considered.
  • Knowledge of IP networks, low voltage electronics, power and communications, Windows XP or 7 workstations, and Microsoft Office products is required.
Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years industry experience.
  • Continuing education is highly valued – Technical, Associate's, Bachelor's degree or security industry certifications.

  • Results-oriented networking and prospecting.
  • Excellent customer relation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in one-on-one and large group situations.
  • Ability to organize workload for effective implementation.
  • Ability to multi-task while working under deadlines and time constraints.
