Job Summary:

KVL Audio Visual Services is seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. As an AV Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, striking, and operating AV equipment for various events and productions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • AV Equipment Setup and Operation: You will be responsible for setting up and operating AV equipment, including running and taping cables, setting up speakers, mixers, projectors, and other AV gear as required.
  • Interpersonal Skills: You will work closely with our team and provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring a positive experience for all stakeholders.
  • Truck Loading and Unloading: You will assist with loading and unloading equipment from our trucks, including pushing cases, stacking and down-stacking cases, and moving gear between rooms.
  • Technical Understanding: You will strive to remain technically adaptable in ever-changing environments, staying up-to-date with the latest equipment and technologies. This includes downloading and referencing equipment manuals as needed.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Physical stamina to lift and move equipment
