The Visual Communication Specialist will serve as the primary creative resource for Philips North American Marketing, crafting compelling storytelling elements and executing various creative projects alongside the team.


Your Responsibilities:


Act as the design authority, unlocking creative possibilities during team discussions, program planning, campaign strategies, and content development.

Utilize design to narrate visual stories that resonate with both potential clients and existing customers.


Develop, create, and implement design solutions for diverse projects, ensuring the Philips visual identity is consistently applied across extensive integrated campaigns, individual asset creation, and sales-oriented materials.


Introduce innovative design formats to Philips' marketing initiatives, including infographics, animated visuals, and more.


Collaborate beyond the creative brief, engaging with internal stakeholders from marketing, sales, and other departments to identify opportunities for impactful creative pieces.


Oversee your project workflow, tracking timelines, deadlines, and reviews; maintain a catalog of all artwork and designs for easy reference and repurposing.



Ideal Candidate Profile:

You possess a Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, art direction, or a related field, coupled with over 5 years of experience in design, art direction, or a similar capacity; experience in an agency setting is preferred.


Demonstrate creative and innovative thinking—capable of simplifying complex concepts into clear, thoughtful designs.


Ability to conceptualize ideas and storyboard concepts for presentation, combined with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.


Strong communication skills and the ability to manage projects under tight deadlines.


A collaborative mindset paired with a quick learning ability. You can provide and receive constructive feedback, and adjust priorities as necessary.


Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
