We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Generalist to support our rapidly growing team at Community Savings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Onboard and offboard employees, including pre-employment background checks, creating logins, and submitting IT tickets.
- Send welcome emails and provide necessary resources to new hires.
- Verify benefit enrollment and enter payroll deductions and withholdings.
- Manage timecards and assist with state tax registration.
- Assign training modules to employees and confirm completion.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HRIS, benefits, and payroll.
- Maintain accurate employee records to ensure data integrity within the HRIS.
- Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure timely payment to vendors.
- Complete projects and tasks assigned by senior leadership.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in HR, administrative assistant, or finance-related roles.
- Familiarity with Paylocity and training software.
- Professional communication skills.
- Understanding of benefits, PTO, and basic onboarding requirements, including I-9 documents.
- Timecard management and state tax registration experience.
- Confidentiality and discretion.
