Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Generalist to support our rapidly growing team at Community Savings. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal communication skills and a strong ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Onboard and offboard employees, including pre-employment background checks, creating logins, and submitting IT tickets.
  • Send welcome emails and provide necessary resources to new hires.
  • Verify benefit enrollment and enter payroll deductions and withholdings.
  • Manage timecards and assist with state tax registration.
  • Assign training modules to employees and confirm completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HRIS, benefits, and payroll.
  • Maintain accurate employee records to ensure data integrity within the HRIS.
  • Support the reconciliation of accounts and ensure timely payment to vendors.
  • Complete projects and tasks assigned by senior leadership.
Requirements
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in HR, administrative assistant, or finance-related roles.
  • Familiarity with Paylocity and training software.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Understanding of benefits, PTO, and basic onboarding requirements, including I-9 documents.
  • Timecard management and state tax registration experience.
  • Confidentiality and discretion.
