Job Title: District Manager

Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Manager to lead our team in achieving profit, sales, customer satisfaction, marketing, and human resource development objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct daily operations of the Area to achieve profit, sales, customer satisfaction, marketing, and human resource development objectives.
  • Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all Company guidelines and following ethical business practices.
  • Train and execute all food safety procedures.
  • Maximize Area profit objectives and provide leadership and direction to subordinates for achievement of their assigned territory profit objectives.
  • Manage food, paper, labor, overhead, and other controllable costs.
  • Manage cash control program, POS targets, and risk management targets.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance profits and execute profit-enhancing objectives.
  • Execute Safety and Security policies.
  • Lead and direct Managers in profit building and cost management techniques.
  • Maximize area sales objectives versus budget and prior year and provide leadership and direction to subordinates for achievement of their assigned territory sales objectives.
  • Develop and execute short and long-term action plans to maximize sales, including down stores.
  • Education, development, and coaching of managers in sales building techniques.
  • Execution of Quality, Service, Cleanliness, and Customer Courtesy.
  • Execution of Company systems and operating procedures.
  • Frequency, nature, and resolution of customer complaints; identification of trends developing from customer complaints, and development of action plan to address trends.
  • Execution of national and local marketing programs.
  • Execution of new product roll-outs.
  • Establishment of community presence and goodwill for the Brand.
  • Consistent message to customer (e.g., POP, reader boards, menu boards).
  • Proper escalation of employee issues.
  • Diversity of hires and bench strength at all levels.
  • Crew, Shift Supervisor, and management staffing and turnover levels versus goal.
  • Creation of a productive and motivating workplace environment through role-modeling, goal setting, coaching, and providing training and development.
  • Recruiting, selection, recognition, compensation, discipline, and other labor and employment practices are in compliance with all FREDDY's policies and procedures and federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Training classes and completion of training assignments.
  • Ongoing review of personal development plans.
  • Participates in the Area's planning process; including the development and implementation of the Area's business plans and budgets to ensure FREDDY's growth and development in the territory. Working closely with Development staff.
